CA Business Leaders 40 Under 40 - the most prestigious recognition for the financial and business maestros is back!

After the remarkable success of two seasons of CA Business Leaders 40 Under 40, ICAI and Business Standard are hosting Season 3 of this flagship event

The awards aim to recognise and felicitate the exemplary contributions of young outstanding performers of ICAI members who have demonstrated excellence and portrayed an abiding commitment to achieve heights as CA professionals.

ICAI and Business Standard have come together to celebrate the spirit of excellence of 40 dynamic Chartered Accountants under the age of 40 who have emerged as leaders in the profession and are setting an example for others to follow.

Business Standard is proud to associate with ICAI for the CA Business Leaders 40 Under 40 Awards to honour and encourage these inspiring leaders as they are scaling to new heights and transforming the business at a global level.

About ICAI

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is a statutory body established by an Act of Parliament, viz. The Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 (Act No.XXXVIII of 1949) for regulation and development of the profession of Chartered Accountants in the country. Eligibility Criteria

The prospective contenders should meet the below mentioned eligibility criteria

Should be below 40 years i.e. born on or after 01.10.1984

Nomination is open for the members serving in Industry and business but not holding a full time Certificate of Practice (CoP)

Nominations are invited across these categories - Manufacturing, Services, MSME, Startup, BFSI, Women, Overseas and Others (we recommend that participants select the category that is most suitable for them)

Applicant must specify a noteworthy achievement with supporting document/s

Both self and company (for their employees) nominations are eligible for entry, subject to these criteria

Evaluation Parameter

The prospective contenders have to describe one effective project undertaken by them with the below mentioned parameters.

  • Specification of the project objectives

  • Innovative methodology used in its execution and implementation

  • Digital Disruption Involved

  • Feasibility of the plan or project competency and relevance

  • Risk involvement and mitigation strategy

  • Value addition for stakeholders and contribution to sustainability and reporting thereof

  • Project execution effectiveness in terms of cost and timelines

Documents Required

  • Applicants must specify a noteworthy achievement with supporting document/s

  • Supporting documents for assessing the information provided under evaluation parameters and other information required

  • Brief snap-shot of the financial performance of the entity (current employment)
